Michael D Coleman

 Michael Dean Coleman, JR

Age 56, of Martinsville, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, Sunday morning, February 16, 2025 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Ohio.   He was born May 22, 1968 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Michael Dean Coleman SR and Patricia Ann Coleman, of Martinsville.    A 1986 Wilmington High School Graduate, Michael then spent 22 years in the Ohio Air National Guard, retiring as a master sergeant. He also graduated from Southern State Community College with a degree in Aircraft Maintenance and Air Frame Maintenance.  He was involved with the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 146, Martinsville, throughout his life.

In addition to his mom, other surviving family members are his son- Christopher (Skye) Coleman of Washington Court House, OH; grandchildren- Lincoln, Elliana, & Wylder Coleman; brother- James D. (Betsy) Coleman of Hillsboro, OH; aunts & uncles- Janet (Dan) LeBeau, Morrow, OH, Nancy Coleman, Xenia, OH, Tom (Nellie) Coleman, Wilmington, & Cecil (Sandra) Coleman, Xenia; special niece- Danielle (Clint) Henry, Lynchburg, OH & special nephew- Dylan Coleman, Hillsboro; and numerous cousins, other nieces & nephews, friends and Air Force buddies.

 In addition to his father, Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents- Cecil & Hazel Coleman; paternal grandparents- Harold & Gretchen Coleman; uncles- Roylance Coleman & Randy (Theresa) Coleman.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Bethany Baptist Church, 10156 St Rte 350, Clarksville, Ohio with Pastor Tim Bradshaw officiating. Michael will have his memorial service in conjunction with his grandmother, Hazel Coleman, who passed on January 16, 2025.  Contributions in Michael's memory may be made to the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home 97 West Locust Street, Wilmington, OH 45177 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
