Melissa Ballweg

Melissa D. Ballweg, age 56, of Port William, OH, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, OH.

She was born July 7, 1959 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Ronald Eugene Schmieding and Christine Rhule Schmieding.

Surviving are husband, Ed Ballweg, whom she married on October 10, 2004, daughter, Kelsey Greene, son, Dusty Greene, 20 grandchildren, 6 siblings Bonita Mayo,  Jeffrey Schmieding, Ronald Schmieding, Steve Kothman, Sid Raisch, and Scott Raisch,and many  nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Melissa was preceded in death by a son, Corey Greene, sister, Shari Osborne, and nephew, Jeremy Isaacs.

Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St. Wilmington.
