Mel Crist

Mel Crist, age 70, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. 

He was born September 12, 1954 in Troy, Ohio, son of the late Melvin Leroy Crist Sr. and Minnie Lucille Hopkins Crist.

Mel dedicated over 40 years of service to Thal-Mar Associates Inc. in Moraine. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, he cherished every moment spent with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Anne Crist, whom he married on September 12, 1994; two daughters: Sarah (Matthew) Bova of Loveland and Jennifer (Derek) Wymer of Beavercreek; three grandchildren: Charlotte Elizabeth Bova, William Joshua Bova, and Lucille Elizabeth Wymer; and a brother, Brian Crist of Kettering.

Mel was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Lucille Crist.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington has been entrusted with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mel's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
