Mary Vires

Mary  Ann Vires,
age  78, of Cuba, Ohio, passed away Monday afternoon at 2:55 PM, December 2, 2013 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was born July 9, 1935 in Napier, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ivy Stacey Young and Otis York.
She was a resident of Cuba for 38 years and loved spending time gardening, looking after and feeding the kids, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She had many friends and neighbors in Cuba and will be missed dearly by everyone.

Surviving are her 4 daughters- Marilyn Phelps of Cincinnati, OH,  Bobbie Jo (Harry) Taylor of Blackstone, VA,  Rosa Stamper of Cuba, OH, & Cathy Vires, of Cuba; 5 sons- Dennis (Elaine) Stamper of Glasco, KY,  Donald (Kathy) Stamper of Celina, OH,  Danny (Geneen) Vires of Norton, VA,  Thomas Vires of  Lebanon, OH, & Jesse Vires of Cuba, OH;   17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and special friend- Bonnie Palmer, Lynchburg, OH.

In addition to her parents, Mary has gone to heaven to be with her loved ones who include her 2 husbands- Price Stamper and Euliss Vires; son- Kennith Stamper; brother- Grover  Young, & sister- Wanda Shell.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 5, 2013 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with James Wilder officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington, Ohio.

Friends will be received from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, Thursday, Dec 5 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH .
