Mary Thomas

Mary Irene Thomas,
Age 85, of Moraine, Ohio, passed away after a battle with cancer on Thursday morning, March 7, 2013 at her daughter's home in Wilmington, Ohio.

She was born April 20, 1927 in Ironton, Ohio, daughter of the late Fred Howard & Amma Dalia (Stephenson) Hunnel.  On August 19, 1946 in Richmond, IN, she married Tom J. Thomas, who died February 6, 2000.

Surviving are her 3daughters- Barbara (Richard) Chaney of Mishawaka, IN,  Carol Gould of Wilmington, OH, & Tina Anderson of Clarksville, OH; 3 sons- Michael (Brenda) Thomas of West Alexandria, OH,  Fred (Kim) Thomas of West Carrollton, OH, & Gary Thomas of Moraine, OH; Ten grandchildren; Eleven great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters- Margaret Alcorn of Whittier, CA, & Florence Adkins of Muncie, IN.

In addition to her parents and husband,  Mary was preceded in death by her son- Richard Thomas and Seven brothers & sisters.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Dayton National Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 1-4 PM, Sunday March 10, 2013 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington, OH .
