Mary Catherine "Cathy" Spires, age 67, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at her home in Wilmington, OH.
She was born December 8, 1945 in Springfield, OH, daughter of the late John Clark and Mary E. Leffel Clark.
She had worked at ABX for over 20 years and enjoyed gardening and traveling with her husband Dan..
Surviving is her husband, Dan Spires whom she married September 9, 1996, son, Ben Alexander of Portland, OR, two step-sons, Ben Spires of Centerville, and Sam Spires of Waynesville. Also surviving are two brothers, John (Peg) Clark, and Jim (Charity) Clark both of Springfield, OH. Nine grandchildren also survive, Danny, Samantha, Kayla, Scott, Andrew, and Matt Spires, Rachale, Catherine, and Jaclyn Cornwell .
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Erica Cornwell, and a sister, Patty Webb.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor Mike McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home at 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
