Mary Smith

Mary Frances Smith,
age 90, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Tuesday morning, December 22, 2020 at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born January 30, 1930 in Wilmington, daughter of the late Roy & Hazel Halen (Slayton) Hubble. Mary had worked as a Custodian and was a former member of the Wilmington Eagles Club and Wilmington Church of God.

Surviving are her sons- Douglas (Gloria) Smith of Bainbridge, OH, & Tom (Teena) Smith of Wilmington;  daughter- Helen Waln,  Judy Beers,and  Linda Jones all of Wilmington; lots of grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband- Hollie Layton Smith, who died on February16, 1988; daughter- Betty Smith;  & son- Luther Smith.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held  10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Arkoe Cemetery, Chenoweth Fork Road, Piketon, Ohio   with Pastor Gene Toole officiating.  The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
