Mary Potts

Mary  E. Potts,
age 65, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Thursday morning, March 24, 2022 peacefully at home.
She was born March 14, 1957 in Wilmington, Ohio, daughter of the late Roy & Violet E (Reed)  Caplinger.
Mary retired from the City of Wilmington Parks Department after over 25 years of service.
Surviving are her son- Cheyenne Potts of Wilmington; daughter- Brooke Potts of Wilmington; Brothers- Steve (Terri) Caplinger of Xenia, OH, & Richard (Sue) Caplinger of Wilmington; sister- Judy (Clarence) Mills of Harveysburg, OH; 7 grandchildren- JT Clark, Tyler Clark, Elizabeth Potts, Zayden Potts, Katie Duckett, Carly Sexton, & Azurada Potts; many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary  was preceded in death by her husband- Thomas Eugene Potts; son- Shawn Thomas Potts;  brother- Donald Grover Caplinger; and sister- Vicky Haywood.
Graveside Services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, April 1, 2022 at the Springfield Friends Cemetery, Todds Fork Road, Clarksville, Ohio  with  Pastor Mark Wilkenson officiating.
The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
