Mary Elizabeth (Vifquain) Marshall,
Age 85, of Clarksville, Ohio, passed away after a brief illness Monday afternoon, February 27, 2012 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio.

She was born June 18, 1926 in Springview, Nebraska, daughter of  the late Elmer V. & Nellie C. (Kenaston) Vifquain.  On March 22, 1944 in Rapid City, SD, she married Charles Richard Marshall, who died September 4, 2005.

She was an active member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church.  Mrs. Marshall had also trained and raised Arabian Horses.

A loving, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, surviving family members include her 2 sons- Victor Bradley (Gretchen) Marshall of Clark Lake, MI, & Charles Richard (Lourdes) Marshall Jr. of California; 4 daughters- Kathleen Edith Passarge of Clarksville, OH,  Carolyn Louise (Michael) Foote of Custer, SD, Constance Marie Marshall of New Vienna, OH, & Mary Elizabeth (Frank) Graziano of Medina, OH; 12 Grandchildren- Molly Marshall, Benjamin Marshall, Brian Passarge, Bradley Passarge, Jason Foote, Adam Foote, Michael Foote, Jared Foote, Joseph Graziano, Michael Graziano, Elizabeth Graziano & Anthony Graziano; 12 great-grandchildren; brother- Jerald Vifquain, Nemo, SD; sister-Eleanor Harkin, Interior, SD; and several Nieces & Nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband,  Elizabeth was preceded in death by grandson, Jeffrey Marshall Foote in 1995 and a brother- Victor Vifquain.

Prayers will be said 9:45 AM, Saturday, March 3 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at10 AM Saturday, March 3, 2012 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, North Mulberry Street at West Locust Street, with Fr. James M. Wedig officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clarksville Cemetery, Clarksville, OH.

Friends will be received from 4 - 7 PM, Friday, March 2, 2012 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH .
