Mary Catherine "Cathy" Diamond, age 73, of Wilmington, passed away Friday April 1, 2016 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.
She was born November 13, 1942 in Harveysburg, OH, daughter of the late William Henry Ross and Irma Evelyn Penny Ross.
Surviving are husband, Winfred D. Diamond of Wilmington, whom she married July 16, 1987, five sons, Jimmy Dean (Melinda) Ewing of Wilmington, Dan (Dawn) Ewing of Washington Court House, Dennis Ewing of Jamestown, Darryl Ewing, David Ewing of Wilmington, and a daughter, Dawn (Charlie) Richards of Sabina. Also surviving is a step-daughter, Sharon Kay Diamond, step-son, Danny Lee Diamond, 17 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, two Brothers, Charles Henry Ross of Jamestown, Don (Joy) Ross of Oregonia, two sisters, Linda (Vernon) Bailey of Waynesville, Elizabeth Reeder of Clarksville, and numerous extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by a son, Donald Ewing, and a brother, Archie Ross.
Memorial services will be held at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 7:00 pm with Pastor Titus Green officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Thursday, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
