Mary Brown

Mary S. Brown, age 89, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Friday,  February 27, 2015 at the Continental Manor in Blanchester.

She was born July 20, 1925 in Midland, Ohio , daughter of the late Winford O. and Nora Alice (Botts) Sharp.

Mary was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington.

Surviving is her husband, Robert D. Brown of Wilmington, whom she married June 10, 1950. Also surviving is her son, Dale (Jennifer) Brown of Wilmington, four grandchildren, Andrew Brown, of Alexandria, VA, Emily Brown, of Cincinnati, Julie Brown, of Cincinnati, and Veronica Brown, of Wilmington. Other surviving family members include a brother, Charles Sharp of Martinsville, a sister, Thelma Pennewitt, of Wilmington,  another brother, Samuel Sharp of Wilmington, and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Stanley, Wayne, and Howard Sharp.

Graveside services will be held at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.  with Pastor Bryson Thompson officiating.  No visitation is scheduled.
