Martha Suiter

Martha L. Suiter, age 85, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Saturday morning, May 14, 2022 at the Laurels of Milford.

She was born December 28, 1936 in Marble Furnace, Ohio, daughter of P. Watt and Mollie (Howard) Hayes.

Martha was a graduate of Wilmington College. She was a social worker for Laurels of Hillsboro and Wilmington Nursing and Rehab for many years. Martha was a member of the Harriett Missionary Church and served on the board for the Highland County Society for Children and Adults.

Surviving are her three sons, Michael Suiter and Mark (Sheila) Suiter both of Hillsboro and Matt Suiter of Camden, Ohio, and a brother, Henry Hayes of Marshall, MI.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death her husband, Robert Suiter, three brothers, Johnnie, Sylvester, and Reuben Hayes, and an infant sister, Betty Jo Hayes.

Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 E. Main St. Hillsboro, Friday May 20, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastors Wayne Edingfield and Marlin Davis officiating.  Interment will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery, Belfast, Ohio.

Friends will be received at the funeral home Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
