Martha Bodley

 Martha Bodley, age 75, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Bethesda North Hospital. 

 She was born October 28, 1949 in Hillsboro, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles Vernon and Laura Helen (Wise) Fite. On August 7, 1971 she was united into marriage to Richard Bodley.

 Martha was a member of Leesburg Wesleyan Church. Martha loved cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. .

 Surviving are her loving husband, Richard Bodley; son, Tim Bodley; two grandsons: Peyton and Elijah Bodley; brother, James E. Fite: four sisters: Doris Jean Allen, Betty Lou Leach, Mary Helen Bailey, and Carolyn Sue Johnston; brother-in-law, Dewayne Bodley; and several nieces and nephews.

 In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by three brothers: Richard Lee Fite, Joe Vernon Fite, and Walter Ray Fite; and a brother-in-law, Dave Bodley.

 A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.

Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro has been entrusted with the arrangements.

 Contributions in Martha's memory may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
