Marion Osborn

Marion R. Osborn, age 89, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Wilmington Nursing & Rehab Center.

He was born April 29, 1933 in Harveysburg, OH, son of the late Morris Osborn  and Florence Grace Harvey Osborn.

Marion attended church at the Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington and had retired as the Highway Superintendent  with the Clinton County Highway Department after 29 years of service. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.

Surviving is his wife, Betty L. Osborn, whom he married August 16, 2014, granddaughter, Bethany (James) Davis of North Carolina,2 great-grandchildren, Kingsley & Keegan Davis, 2 step-daughters, Vanessa Hall of Wilmington,  Melody (Monte) Long of Monroe, 3 step-grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Jones of Cincinnati, Bradley (Jennifer) Burgel of Luling, LA and Adam Long of Cincinnati. Also surviving are 4 step-great-grandchildren, Nathan & Andrew Jones and Landen & Brianna Burgel as well as several nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, Marion was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Lyon Osborn, his daughter, Connie Sims and several sisters & brothers.

Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 1:00 pm.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio where the Wilmington American Legion Honor Guard will conduct full military honors.

Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home Thursday, June 2, 2022, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm.
