Marilyn J. Whiting

 Marilyn J. Whiting, age 78, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at her home in Wilmington, OH.  

 She was born March 28, 1945 in Martinsville, OH, daughter of the late Lawrence Whiting  and Ethel Mae Morris Whiting.

 Marilyn worked as an administrative assistant for Airborne Express.

 Marilyn graduated from the Martinsville High School in 1963, the best and last class to graduate from there. She was the best "Grockie" ever to her grandchildren.

 Surviving are daughter, Sherry (Keith) Barrett, son, Steven Leigh, grandson, Brad Dunn, granddaughter, Jessica Dunn, granddaughter, Graceyn Leigh and great-grandchildren, Ella & Elias.

 In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by sisters, Viola Hartman and Wyoma Taylor, brothers, James F. Whiting, Donald H. Whiting, Roger Whiting and a nephew, Arthur Hartman.

 At Marilyn's request, she will be cremated. A Memorial service will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Celebrant Barbara Deibel officiating.
