Marilyn L. McAfee

Marilyn L. McAfee, age 92, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.  
 
 She was born December 21, 1930 in Troy, OH, fourth child of the late Charles Hirsch and Anna E. Ford Hirsch. Her father was a farmer and a WWI veteran; her mother a homemaker. In June of 1950 she married Carl McAfee who preceded her in death along with one sister and two brothers. Marilyn was a farm wife and worked many years as a dental assistant. She attended the Ervin Road Baptist Church and sang in several gospel groups over the years.
 
 Surviving are two sons, Mike and Dave McAfee both of the Sugartree Ridge Community.
 
 Graveside services will take place in the Sugartree Ridge Cemetery at 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 28, 2023 with Pastor Kraig Walker officiating. The Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home is assisting the family.  To sign the online guest book, go to edgingtonfuneralhomes.com.
