Obituary:

Marie Morris Smith,
Age 86, of Findlay, Ohio, formerly of Wilmington, passed away Friday evening, June 24, 2011 at Fox Run Manor in Findlay, Ohio.

She was born June 23, 1925 in Georgetown, OH, daughter of the late Raymond & Blanche Stella (Hoffer)Tumbleson.


Marie had worked as a Housekeeper at Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington for over 17 years and had also worked as a cook at the Wilmington City Schools Denver Elementary School.


She was a Charter Member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Wilmington and a member of the Clinton County Senior Citizens.


Surviving are her 6 children; son- Robert (Marsha) Morris of Hillsboro, OH, son- Sam (Connie) Morris of Xenia, OH, son- John (Sharon) Morris of Fairborn, OH, son- Rickey (Bev) Morris,of Cincinnati, OH, daughter- Shirley (Ken) Roush of Findlay, OH, & daughter- Beverly Burrey of Dayton, OH; Seventeen Grandchildren; Thirty-seven Great-Grandchildren; Three Great-Great-Grandchildren; sister- Letha Miller of Xenia, OH and a number of nieces and nephews.


In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her First Husband- Burdette (Bud) Morris, Second Husband- Clarence Smith, and Brother- John Tumbleson.


Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, July 1, 2011 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Rev. Wayne Woody officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington, Ohio.


Friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, Friday at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH
