Mabel G. Jones,
Age 76, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, June 26, 2013 at the Laurels of Hillsboro in Hillsboro, Ohio.

She was born July 28, 1936 in Brandenburg, KY, daughter of the late Victor Hyppolyte & Mary  Gertrude (Barger) Pierrard.

Mrs. Jones retired as the Athletic Manager for Wilmington College.  During her employment at Wilmington College during the 1980's thru the 1990's, she tirelessly helped both the Quaker athletes and the Cincinnati Bengals athletes. She was a Certified Equipment Manager for the Athletic Equipment Managers Association and a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church, Wilmington.

Surviving are her daughters- Rochelle (Mark)Wilson of West Jefferson, OH, Charlene Reedy, Dayton, Ohio, Barbara (Tom) Thompon, Canyon Lake, TX, Cathy (Steve) Jones, Wilmington; son- Jodie Jones, London, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents,  Mabel was preceded in death by her brother- William J. Pierrard and sister- Nellie (Maynard) Pyle.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, July 1, 2013 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington, Fr. Mike Holloran officiating.  Interment will follow in the Springfield Friends Cemetery, Wilmington.
