Mabel Ann Hamilton, age 85, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Mt. Carmel East in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born July 1, 1930 in London, OH, daughter of the late William Henry and Estella Tolliver Whitelow .
Mabel was a member of the Spirit of Truth Ministries in Washington Court House and had attended the World Harvest Church in Canal Winchester. She was also featured in the Ohio Magazine for her culinary skills at the Cherrybend Pheasant Farm and Harvest.
Surviving are two sons, Donald (Sandra) Hamilton of Mt. Vernon, OH; Michael Hamilton of Wilmington, OH; daughter, Angie B. (Tony Stewart) Hamilton of Reynoldsburg, OH; two grandsons, Ryan (Kelly) Hamilton of Savage, MD; Austin Hamilton of Columbus, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clifton Hamilton Sr.; two sons, Charles Hamilton Jr., Lewis Hamilton; two brothers, Lewis Whitelow, Thomas Whitelow, and four sisters, Francis Threadgill, Helen Byrd, Georgianna Clay, and Mae Wood.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St., Wilmington, OH, November 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Don Young officiating. Interment will follow in the Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
