Mabel L. Camp Mitchell,
Age 96, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Friday evening,  September 27, 2013 at the Quaker Heights Care Community in Waynesville, Ohio.

She was born August 7, 1917 in Greenfield, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert Kyle & Anna Caroline (Romey) Blain.
Mrs. Mitchell retired from the Irwin Auger Bit Company and was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington.  She was known for her quick wit and humor to all who knew her.  The Family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Quaker Heights Care Community for the love and care they gave her during her stay  and also thank the Crossroads Hospice for their compassion and care.

Surviving are her children- Patricia (Gene) Guzzi of Wilmington, OH,  Charles R. "Bob" (Shirley) Camp of Wilmington, OH, Constance (Larry) Millard of Sarasota, FL, Paulette (Richard) Carter of Wilmington, OH, Frederick (Debbie) Camp of Grove City, OH, & Jacqueline (Gary) Hampton of Clarksville, OH; step-children- Jay (Linda) Mitchell of Ocala, FL, Jim Mitchell of Wilmington, OH, Richard (Phyllis) Mitchell of Wilmington, OH, Ruth Ann (John) Halderman of AR &  Janet Whitacre of Seven Mile, OH;  grandchildren- Mary (Bill) Dieble, Perry Guzzi, Cathy (Charles) Mires, Angela Guzzi, Lisa Jenkins, Paula (Dan) Walker, Tricia (Dave) Sollars, Tony Guzzi, Rob (Terri) Camp, Lynne Camp, Anna (Scott) Shaffer, Candice (Mark) Uhlig, Nikki Millard, Tim Carter, Rick Carter, Steve Carter, Kris (Julie) Camp, Molly (Tom) Szabo, Jason (April) Hampton, & Michele (Mike) Murtland; 38 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; brothers- Rev. Robert K. Blain of Greenfield, OH, & Franklin D. (Barbara) Blain of Wichita, KS; and  sisters-in-law- Kate  Blain of Greenfield, OH, & Marie Camp of Batavia, OH.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her first husband- Paul F Camp, second husband- William M. Mitchell; daughter, Lora Jo Camp,  granddaughter- Kelly Sandvig; granddaughter-in-law-Linna Guzzi; sister- Cleo Holsinger; and  brothers- Raymond, William, Ralph, & John Blain.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington,  840 Timber Glen Drive, Wilmington with Pastor Jeffrey J. Ott officiating.  Interment will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery, New Antioch, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 4-7 PM, Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street,Wilmington.
