M. Theresa Arrington,
Age 73, of Wilmington, passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 at the home of her loved ones in Wilmington.
She was born February 8, 1941 in New Vienna, OH, daughter of the late Fred & C. Margaret Caplinger.
A resident of Wilmington since 1961, Theresa retired from the Cape May Retirement Community after 16 years of service and had babysat numerous children in the community over the years. She loved animals and caring for people.
Surviving is her life long friend, Roger "Butch" Spisak, brother- Robert F. Caplinger, her 4 sons- JohnRobert F Spisak, JohnRoger C (Connie) Spisak , JohnMichael M. (Mary) Spisak, JohnDavid Allen (Krista Jones) Spisak, all of Wilmington, OH; 7 grandchildren- McKenna Grace Spisak, Christopher (Stefanie Plas) Spisak, Shannon (Mike) Gould, James JD Spisak, Amber McCracken, Dalton Spisak, & Kordell Spisak; 2 great-grandchildren- Jackson Eli Spisak, & Emilee Jean Gould; 2 nieces- Judy (Steve) Huff, & Gail Hutchins; a host of great-nieces & great-nephews; and many great-great-nieces & great-great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her grandson- Michael M. Spisak; and nephews- James R Caplinger, & Richard L. Caplinger.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Mayo officiating. Interment will follow in the New Vienna I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Vienna, OH.
Following the Burial services in New Vienna, a Memorial Service will be held at Cape May Retirement Village Assisted Living at 2:00 p.m. A luncheon will be held in the Campus Center after the memorial.
Friends will be received from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
