Ms. Lydia Ann Pavey, who preferred to be called Ann at all times and never Lydia, would like to inform you all that she has moved on from this life to be reunited with her parents and many beloved pets who went before her, in Heaven.
She was born January 24, 1957 to John and Martha (Bronniman) Pavey and grew up on the family farm in Leesburg, Ohio. This is where she fostered her love for animals, her family, and photography. As an adult, she worked many years with the Highland County Board of DD as an early intervention specialist for children 0-3.
Her greatest love in life were her twin daughters, Tessa and Nickie, her granddaughters, Aurora (“Ro”), and Maren Lydia, expected in December. She would also like to take the time to thank the parents of the “strays” her daughters brought home that became her “adopted” children: Benjamin Stuckey, Johnna (Storm) Briggs, and Taylor Smithson.
In addition, she is also survived by her beloved poodle companion, Addee, and other special dogs that will be eagerly awaiting their chance to meet her again across the Rainbow Bridge. As well as her best friend since college, Sister Lucy Schmid and two special confidants, Susan Price and Jan Melcher, whom she loved dearly.
Memorial Services will be held at Leesburg Friends Church, 149 South St. Leesburg, on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 4:00 PM with a carry in meal following the service.
Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
