Luella M. Guenther, age 88, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born March 17, 1926 in Pittsburg, PA daughter of the late William Peter and Lula Seibert Baumgartel.
She was a member of theWilmington Church of Christ, Eastern Star, White Shrine of Jerusalem, and the Clinton County Garden Club.
Surviving are son, Carl (Debbie) Guenther of Wilmington, daughter, Lisa (Ray) Merkle of Wilmington, 7 Grandchildren, Tyler (Rachel) Merkle, Austin Merkle, Joshua Merkle, Alyssa (Rob) Powell, Justin Guenther, Travis (Amie) Denkenberger, and Nicole Denkenberger, as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Luella was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edward Guenther and she was the youngest of 9 brothers and sisters and is the last one surviving.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 am with Pastor Stephen Wetterhan officiating. Interment will follow in the Miami - Corwin Cemetery, Waynesville, OH.
Friends will be received at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Friday, November 7, 2014 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. with Eastern Star Services at 7:00 p.m.
