Louis L. Lisk,
Age 66, of New Vienna, Ohio, passed away, late Sunday morning, June 5, 2016 at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family and in the care of hospice.
He was born April 20, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio, son of the late Roderick Layne & Amy B. (Cowden) Lisk. On August 18, 1974, he married Daisy E. Gilland Lisk, who passed away July 24, 2015
Louie was a 1968 graduate of Wilmington High School, where he enjoyed managing the football, baseball, & basketball teams. Louie worked at Randell Textron, Airborne Express and was a long time employee of Bush Auto Sales in Wilmington.
He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Wilmington.
Surviving are his daughters- Amy Lisk of Warsaw, KY, & Jamie Tyes of Wilmington, Ohio; sisters- Lee (John) Burns of Midland, OH, & Melody Manka of Bartlett, IL; 4 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Louie was preceded in death by his brother- Terry Lisk.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Faith Lutheran Church, 421 East Vine Street at Prairie Ave, Wilmington with Pastor June Fryman officiating. Interment will follow in the New Vienna Green Township Cemetery, New Vienna, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 9:30 Am to 11:00 AM Wednesday at the church. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
