Lola Mae Coburn,
age 88, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away, Monday morning, July 21, 2014 at Crestwood Nursing Home in Hillsboro.
She was born November 20, 1925 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, daughter of the late Pleasant L & Anna Belle (Roe) Holbrook. In 1945, she married Edgar Wesley Coburn, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Coburn raised her family in Redondo Beach, CA, wher she developed her love for antiques into a business, which took her and Ed all over America. They retired in Jackson, Ohio to be close to family.
Surviving are her 3 sons- Michael (Alora) Coburn of Hillsboro, OH, Robert (Aly) Coburn of San Luis Obispo, CA, & Geoffrey (Marsha) Coburn of Pigeon Forge, TN; brother- Don (Betty) Holbrook of Martinsville, IN; sister- Parma Morefield of Grove City, OH; 14 grandchildren- Bret, Michael, Robert, Sara, Jeremiah, Sheila, Elizabeth, Joshua, Chrissy, Jenna, Lacey, Ryan, Bryan, & Justin; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lola was preceded in death by her brothers- Ancil, Haskell, & Vencil Holbrook and grandson- Kaleb Andrew.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 East Main Street, Hillsboro with Pastor Kimball Zornes officiating. Interment will be at the family's convenience in the Wheelersburg Memorial Gardens, Wheelersburg, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 24 at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Ohio.
