Age 66, of Martinsville, Ohio passed away Wednesday evening, December 21, 2011 at her home after a struggle with cancer. She was born May 4, 1945 in Wilmington, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles & Rosabelle (Johnson) Crothers. On May 30, 1965 in New Antioch, Ohio, Linda married James Arrington, who survives. She was a member of the Blanchester Congregation of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall and loved gardening and sewing. In addition to her husband, other surviving family members are her daughter- Candy (Lowell) Bradford, Hillsboro; son- Christopher (Elena) Arrington, Wilmington; a granddaughter- Cha Lee Bradford; 2 great-grandchildren- Anastasia Williams and Leland Hales; 4 sisters- Pat Lewis, Jeffersonville, Phyllis (Wayne) Austin, Peebles, Dena (Larry) Graham, Peebles, & her twin- Lanna (Eddie) Smart, Martinsville; 2 brothers- Bob (Marty) Crothers, Peebles & Dallas Crothers, Dayton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington. Brother Harry Havell officiating. Interment will follow at the Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the time of services.
