Lester Jenks

Lester  Jenks,
age 94, of  Wilmington,  passed away Christmas evening, December 25, 2014 at the Wilmington Nursing & Rehab Center in Wilmington, OH.

He was born September 21, 1920 in Xenia, OH son of the late Homer & Mary (Flax) Jenks.

He was a member of Chester Friends Meeting and was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving are son- Larry (Judy) Jenks of Springfield, OH, 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren and son-in-law- Michael Belcher, Beavercreek.

In addition to his parents,  Lester was preceded in death by his wife- Betty Jane Gentner Jenks, two daughters- Kay McMann, Sharon Belcher, twin sister- Ester McCall, sister- Doris Poff, and a brother- Russell Jenks.

Funeral Services will be held at Chester Friends Meeting, 3463 Guerneyville Road, Wilmington, Ohio   Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 11:00 am with Pastors Mike and Nancy McCormick and Jim Ellis officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mount Zion Cemetery, Beavercreek.

Friends will be received at the church Tuesday,  10:00 am - 11:00 am.
