Larry Chaney

Larry  David Chaney,
age 59, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Thursday evening,  August 22, 2013 at his son's home in Sabina, Ohio.

He was born July 14, 1954 in Hillsboro, OH, son of the late Lawrence Raymond & Sara Evelyn (Holladay) Chaney.

Larry had worked as a Retail Clerk for Big Lots, Walmart and the Producers Livestock.  He regularly attended the Church of the Nazarene in Hillsboro.

Surviving are his Companion- Betty Kay Dove of Hillsboro, OH; 2 sons- Steven David (Maggie) Chaney of OK, & Adam Lee (Marianne) Chaney of Reesville, OH; step-son- Scott (Lori) Dove of Sabina, OH;2 step-daughters- Lora (Jimmy) Shepherd of Willowwood, OH, & Melissa Dove of Delaware, OH; Eight grandchildren; brother- Bill (Lorraine) Chaney of Tucson, AZ; sister- Ginger Collins, Hillsboro, and many nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, Larry  was preceded in death by 2 sisters- Cherry Ann Leber and Shirley Tong.

The Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the Church of the Nazarene, 8230 US Rte 50, Hillsboro  with Rev. Tom Zile and Rev. Curtis Randolph officiating.
Friends will be received from 2- 3 PM, Sunday, August 25 at the church.
