Lani Stivers

Lani C. Stivers, age 72, of Mowrystown,OH, passed away Thursday morning, July 10, 2014 at home.
She was born on November 15, 1941 in Cincinnati, OH, daughter of the late Roy Rogers Ross and Betsy Laurine Lowe Ross.
Lani was a member of the Mowrystown Church of Christ, and was the former main decorator for the Golden Lamb for 17 years. She was also a cake decorator for several years.
Surviving are husband, Franklin "Doodle" Stivers, whom she married on February 27, 1965, two daughters, Gayla Renee Stivers of Mowrystown, OH and Tara Renee Stivers of Mowrystown, OH, four grandchildren, Paige Renee Hardyman, Taylor Renee Hardyman, Zachary Robert Franklin Hardyman, and Gabrielle Renee Laurine Stivers, one great-grandson on the way, sister, Karen Lake of Cincinnati, OH, two nieces, Mimi Lake and Tracy Lake, three nephews, Richie Lake, Michael Lake, and David Lake, and great-nephew, Mark Lake .
In addition to her parents Lani was preceded in death by nephew, Mark Lake .
Services will be held at Mowrystown Church of Christ, July 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jerry Mueller and Pastor Chris Gobin officiating. Interment will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery, Mowrystown, Ohio.
Friends will be received at Edgington Funeral Home, 17 E. Main St. Mowrystown, Ohio Saturday, July 12, 2014 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Contributions may be made to the Mowrystown Church of Christ Youth Center Building Fund.
