Lane Everett McCoy, age 3 1/2, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.
He was born May 15, 2012 in Wilmington, OH, son of Seth Adam McCoy and Randi Nicole Forrer McCoy.
Lane loved farming, rodeos, riding his pony, and being with his family.
Surviving are his parents, Seth and Randi McCoy, sister, Larami McCoy, paternal grandparents, Jeff & Jane McCoy of Hillsboro, maternal grandparents, Tom & Toni Forrer of Dalton, OH, Great Grandmother, Martha R. Griffith of Hillsboro, Great grandfather, Don Coffell of TX, Great grandmother, Arola Coffell of FL, and several aunts, uncles, & cousins.
Lane was preceded in death by great grandparents, Everett Griffith, Frank & Mary Ann McCoy, I.J. and Evelyn Forrer, and a Cousin, Colleen Winkle.
Services will be held at Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene, Friday, October 9, 2015 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Tom Zile officiating. Interment will follow in the Stringtown Cemetery.
Friends will be received at Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene Thursday, October 8, 2015, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Friday, October 9, 2015, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm.
