Kevin Louis Cowdrey, age 54, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the Highland District Hospital ER, in Hillsboro, OH.
He was born February 19, 1959 at the Tachakawa Air Force Base Hospital in Tachakawa, Japan, son of Daniel L. Cowdrey and Rose Marie Hendrixson Cowdrey.
Kevin was very loyal to his religion and was a member of the Bainbridge Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. His favorite scripture was Revelations 21:4. He loved to fish and was a wonderful swimmer. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Survivors include his parents, Daniel L. and Rose Marie Cowdrey of Hillsboro, three brothers, Brian Cowdrey, Steve Cowdrey, and Tim Cowdrey. Also surviving is his great grandmother, Alice Cowdrey, three nieces, Heather Branham, Megan Cowdrey, Monica Cowdrey, two nephews, Craig Cowdrey, Matthew Cowdrey, and aunts & uncles, Bob & Ann Campbell, Jenny Carroll, Mary Jane Evilsizer, Margaret Ann Blue, and Patrick Hendrixson, as well as many nieces, cousins & friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by two uncles, Carl & Richard.
A memorial service will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Monday, January 6, 2014 at 6:30 pm with Bill Coulson speaking.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, 5:30 until the time of service.
