Kenneth Gaines

Kenneth W. Gaines, age 73, of Blanchester, OH, passed away suddenly Wednesday,  May 13, 2015 at his home.

He was born August 26, 1941 in London, KY, son of the late Robert Henry Gaines  and Pernia Holt Gaines.

He was retired as an officer with the Lebanon Correctional Institute and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving is his wife, Margaret Gaines whom he married April 30, 1994, two sons, Terry Gaines, Donaven (Jeannine) Bell, three grandsons,  Michael, Winston, Steven, two sisters, Pat (Dave) Jordan, Priscilla Poynter, and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Tom Poynter.

Services will be held at Cuba Friends Church, Monday, May 18, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Doug Haag officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens where the Wilmington American Legion Memorial Squad will conduct full military honors.

Friends will be received at the church Monday, May 18, 2015, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.

The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
