Judy Ann Gibson, age 61, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH.
She was born February 15, 1950 in Cincinnati, OH, daughter of Newton McConnaughey and June Sears McConnaughey.
Judy was a former employee of the Wilmington Kroger store where she had been a front end manager and had also worked as the business manager at Carstar in Wilmington.
Survivors include her husband, James Gibson of Wilmington, whom she married December 13, 1968, son, Spencer (Rachael) Gibson of Cincinnati, daughter, Holly (Phil) Swisher of Blanchester, grandson, Austin Swisher, granddaughter, Fiona Gibson, her parents, Newt and June McConnaughey of Albuquerque, NM, three sisters, Elizabeth (Victor) Noveilliere of Tampa, FL, Nancy Harville of Albuquerque, NM, and Julie (Jason) Krawchuck of Albuquerque, NM.
A Celebration of Judy's life will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Saturday,October 15, 2011 at 7:00 pm with Pastor Andy Daugherty officiating.
Friends will be received Saturday, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Oct. 15, 2011 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, .
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society .
