Judith E. Kirchnerdavis, age 69, of Wilmington, OH, lost her battle with ovarian cancer on Thursday, September 19, 2013 in Wilmington, OH.
She was born July 25, 1944 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Robert Charles Diehl and Fawntella T. Carter Diehl.
She was a member of the Wilmington United Methodist Church where she served many years as the Children's Choir Director. She was a founding member of the Wilmington A.M. Rotary Club; had founded the Clinton County 4-H Choir, and was a former member of the Wilmington City School Board for 16 years. Judy was a registered nurse and had worked as a hospice nurse for several years, she also had been the assistant director of nursing at Continental Manor in Blanchester and most recently was the director of nursing at Cape May until her retirement. She loved the arts and participated in the Summer Theater and the Murphy Theater Christmas Show.
Surviving is her husband, Phillip "Skip" Davis of Wilmington, OH, son, Jerry (Colleen) Kirchner Jr. of Columbus, OH, son, Scott Kirchner of Wilmington, OH, daughter, Tracie Jo (Chris) Tullus of CA, grandson, Joshua Tullus, granddaughter, Samantha Tullus, granddaughter, Kylie Kirchner, and grandson, Nathaniel Tullus.Also surviving are Skip's children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Bobby" Diehl, and aunt, Trilby "Sissy" Kaline.
A memorial service to celebrate Judith's life will be held 6:30 p.m. September 25, 2013 at the Wilmington United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall with Rev. Dan Mayo officiating.
According to her wishes, her body was donated to The ohio State University School of Medicine.
