Juanita Ederer

Juanita Carlene Bard Ederer,
87, of Wilmington, Ohio, formerly of CA, died October 23, 2013 at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born August 17, 1926 in Huntington, IN, daughter of  the late Lossen Bard & Nellie Hammel Bard Plasterer.  On February 21, 1946, she married Robert John Ederer, who died Feb. 10, 2002.

She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed volunteering at CMH, her many years of traveling with her husband, square dancing, playing the piano,  corresponding with family and friends, and reading.

Surviving are her four sons- James Robert (Nancy Ann) Ederer, Hilo, HI, Douglas Steven (Sylvia) Ederer, Auburn, CA, Patrick (Nancy Lee) Ederer, Wilmington, OH, and Dr. Jeffrey Michael (Lori Barnes) Ederer, Denver, CO; her grandchildren- Travis (Sherri) Ederer, Jenny Hisey, Renee (Brian) Thompson, Ryan Cool, Chelsea (John) Yznaga, Colton Ederer, Brennan Ederer, Dustin Ederer, Cameron (Fiancee-Amber Sluis) Ederer, Sarah (Nathan) Thirey, Patrick Ryan Ederer, Andrew Ederer, Luke Ederer, Tori Ederer, & Emily Ederer; several great-grandchildren and 2 sisters- Roberta (Ron) Tasker, & Connie (Skip) Evans.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Ederer was preceded in death by her step-father- Robert Plasterer and her sister- Phyllis Nelson.

A memorial  service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1920 St Rte 22 West,Wilmington, with Rev. Dennis Humphreys officiating.  Interment will follow at a later date in the Pilgrams Rest Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
