John Ujvary

John  Ujvary,
Age 83, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away Sunday evening,  August 8, 2021 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was born September 25, 1937 in Hungary, son of the late John & Rose Ujvari.
In 1957 John emigrated during the Soviet Invasion from Hungary  to the United States.  In 1967, he graduated from Hughes High School in Cincinnati.  He retired as a millwright serving for over 30 years with the last 11 years at the now closed Fernald Power Plant.  He loved going to the Hollywood Casino.

Surviving are his son- William J. (Alice) Ujvary of Blanchester, OH; daughters- Lee Schmidt, Cincinnati, Juli Carvi, Columbus & Sue Ujvary, of Vancouver, Washington; 6 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and 2  brothersGyula Ujvari and Jozsef Ujvari and other family members in Hungary
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wives- Margaret Edna Cook Ujvary, Gisella Schneider Ujvary, and Sharon Witterirde Ujvary; a sister & a brother.
