He was born August 30, 1922 in Sardinia, OH, son of the late William Issac Gregory and Mame Purdy Gregory.
John was a life long farmer in the Mowrystown-Buford areas. He attended Katterman Chapel and taught Sunday School for several years and was also a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.
Surviving is his wife, Margine Elizabeth Gregory of Hillsboro and one son, David Gregory of Duluth, GA.
Graveside services will be held at Sardinia Cemetery, Friday, January 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Lyle officiating.
The Edgington Funeral Home is serving the family.
