John Flint,
age 84, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away February 18, 2015 surrounded by his family.
He was born November 23, 1930 in Wilmington, son of the late John & Fannie (Georges) Flint Sr. On February 28, 1952 in Wilmington, he married Velma Gibson Flint , who survives.
John retired from the Thompson Farms after over 42 years of service.
In addition to his wife, other surviving family members are his 2 sons- Mark (Billie) Flint of Wilmington, & Jon Arthur Flint of Wilmington; grandchildren- Shannon (Travis) Stockwell of Lynchburg, OH, Cindy (Dave) Young of Wilmington, Shane Flint, & Mindy (Luke) Snider of New Vienna, OH; great-grandchildren- Hailey, Trevin, Ryleigh, Emmy, & Brady; and brothers- Arnold, Clark, Jimmy, & Paul Flint special nephew- Ron Flint and son-in-law- Bob Macke.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his daughter- Rosemary Macke; brothers- Gene, Donald, Raymond, Asa, & Charlie and sisters- Fluff, Faye, Lydia, Emily, & Mary.
Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon, Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Pastor Bob Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Centerville Cemetery, Lees Creek, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of services Saturday at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
