John Conger

John Allen Conger,
age 69, of Clarksville, Ohio, passed away suddenly, Tuesday evening, September 19, 2017 at home.

He was born  in Wilmington, Ohio, son of the late Ira & Phyllis (Ross) Conger.  He married Debra Ross Conger, who preceded him in death in 1994.

John had worked for L & M Farms in Pleasant Plain, Ohio.  A Wilmington High School Graduate, he was a US Army Vietnam War Era Veteran.

Surviving are his son- Trent Allen Conger of Clarksville; grandchildren- Elizabeth Conger, Hunter Conger, Jordan Clefford,  Angela Hungler; sisters- Ellen Brandenburg of Hillsboro, Ohio, Clara Mae Hawes of FL, & Rosie Hawes of Ironton, Ohio; brothers- Bobbie Hawes of West Union, OH, & Charlie Hawes of WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, John was preceded in death by his granddaughter- Danielle Hungler; sister- Linda Conger and brother- Charlie Conger.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington.  The Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Memorial Squad will accord full military honors.  Interment will be held at the family's convenience at the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington.
