Jeanne M. Harpen,
Age 84, of Clarksville, Ohio, passed away Saturday Morning, May 14, 2011 at Heritage Spring Nursing Home in West Chester, Ohio.
She was born October 14, 1926 in Toledo, Ohio, daughter of the late Nathan & Dorothy (Gay) Beaber. On June 17, 1948, she married Walter John "Wally" Harpen, who preceded her in death on November 12, 2010.
She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church.
Surviving are her 11 Children-Dr. Michael D. (Lydi) Harpen of Mobile, AL, Walter John "Bee" (Geraldine) Harpen of Parks Hills, KY, Patrick Howard (Edna) Harpen of Mason, Ohio, Dr. Martin Paul (Elenita) Harpen, Francis Xavier (Andrea) Harpen of Clarksville, OH, Mary Margaret (John) Harpen Bolger of Cincinnati, Ohio, Grace Mary Harpen, Anthony Joseph (Victoria) Harpen, Peter Gerard (Mary Frances) Harpen, Anne Marie Harpen, & Andrew (Cynthia) Harpen; Twenty-Seven Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers- Joe Beaber, Maumee, OH, Bob Beaber, Clermont, FL; and Sisters- Therese Hanlon, Lebanon, Susie Atkinson, Oak Harbor, OH, & Dorothy Madegon, Toledo.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son- Edward James Harpen.
Prayers will be said 10:10 AM, Tuesday, May 17 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM, Tuesday. May 17, 2011 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 73 North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Fr. James M. Wedig officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
