Jimmie Creditt

Jimmie Dale Creditt,
age 83, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Friday afternoon, April 15, 2016 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born November 16, 1932 in Melvin, Ohio, son of the late James Adam & Dorothy (Flint) Creditt.
A US Air Force Korean War Veteran,  Jimmie was a member of Sligo Baptist Church and was a local home builder, brick mason & avid hunter.

Surviving are his wife of  64 years- Geraldine Creditt; daughter- Jill (Pat) Dodds of Wilmington; sons- Jack (Patti) Creditt of Wilmington, & Jodie (Lisa) Creditt of Wilmington; 5 grandchildren-Tricia (Doug) Phelps, Traci (Cary) Harner, and Luke, Matthew, & Sarah Creditt; 4 great-grandchildren- Halie & Breckin Harner & Jaden & Jaxen Phelps; and a brother- Martin "Marty" Creditt, Wilmington.
In addition to his parents,  Jimmie was preceded in death by his son- Jonnie Creditt and a brother- Richard "Dickie" Creditt..

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 21, 2016  at the Sligo Baptist Church, 249 Beechgrove Road, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Ryan Hysell and Rev. Jack Creditt officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, where the Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Memorial Squad will accord full military honors.
Friends will be received from 5-8 PM, Wednesday, April 20 at the Sligo Baptist Church, Wilmington.
The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington has been entrusted with the services.
