Jim Goolsby

Jim Goolsby, age 69, of New Vienna, Ohio, passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 24, 2018 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital in Columbus.

He was born February 20, 1949 in Hillsboro, Ohio, son of the late Layman Thomas and Marie Adkins Goolsby .

Jim was a member of New Vienna Community Church.

Surviving is his loving wife, Connie Goolsby, who he married on October 8, 1966,  four children, Greg Goolsby of Hillsboro,  Anthony (Brenda) Goolsby of Hillsboro,  Jennifer Gooding of Centerville, and Angela (Donnie) Baldridge of Hillsboro,  twelve grandchildren,  and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Joe Goolsby.

Services will be held at New Vienna Community Church, 412 West St. New Vienna, Monday, April 30, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. Dan Mayo officiating.  Interment will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery, Belfast, Ohio.

Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 E. Main St. Hillsboro, Sunday, April 29, 2018, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
