Jeannette Bohl

Jeannette Evelyn (Moler) Bohl, the daughter of Oda Leroy and Emma Florence (Caron) Moler passed away early Saturday, morning on September 28, 2013, following a brief stay at the Heartland Care Center in Hillsboro, Ohio. Born on January 1, 1914, she grew up in the Mowrystown, Ohio area and graduated from high school in the old White Oak School building in Mowrystown.

Following her marriage to Floyd Bohl on September 23, 1933, the couple moved to a farm on Bell's Run Road, near Mowrystown. Her marriage to Floyd was blessed with two children; Kenneth Bohl and Betty Bohl Vanzant. Working alongside her husband on the farm she raised turkeys, hogs, chickens, and performed other work around the farm as needed. Jeanette loved to work in her yard and was often seen riding her lawnmower even into her 90's. She was very active in the Church of Christ in Macon, Ohio and always loved being around her friends, most of whom have passed before her.

Among those left behind are her loving children Kenneth (Betty) Bohl of Sardina, Ohio and Betty (Robert) Vanzant of Washington Court House, Ohio, and her grandchildren Michelle Bohl, Lori Vanzant, Joan (Chip) Vanzant Geiss, and Valerie (Kris) Vanzant Stoddard, and one great-granddaughter, Natasha Vanzant McMahan. Jeannette's influence and memory remain with those who loved her as she enters her rest with her Heavenly Father. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceeded in death by her brother, Lloyd Moler.

Services will be held at Edgington Funeral Home, Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Jerrod Florence officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery alonside her beloved husband Floyd who preceeded her passing in 1985.

Friends will be received at Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, Ohio, Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
