Jason Richard Hampton ,42, of Simi Valley, CA formerly of Clarksville OH, passed away unexpectedly Dec 28th at Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks, Ca.
Survived by sons, Lakota, and Skyler, daughters, Jocelyn, Laci all at home.
His parents Gary and Jackie(Camp) Hampton of Clarksville Oh, a sister , Michele (Mike) Murtland, nieces, Sydney and Savannah, nephew Jacob Murtland all of Wilmington.
Aunts: Patricia (Gene) Guzzi, Paulette (Richard) Carter ,Vicky (Randy) DeBoard, Debbie (Doug) Little, Linda (Richard) Wilkin all of Wilmington. Connie (Larry) Millard of Sarasota, Fl., Ruth Ann (John) Halderman of Springdale AR, and Janet Whitacre of Seven Mile,OH.
Uncles: Bob (Shirley) Camp, Richard (Phyllis) Mitchell of Wilmington, Fred (Debbie) Camp of Grove City,OH and Harold Jay (Linda) Mitchell of Ocala, Fl.
Jason graduated from Clinton Massie High School in the class of 1990 and the Art Institute of Design in 1992. Jason was an accomplished artist. He was a member of New Antioch Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his wife April of Simi Valley Ca, Grandparents Paul Camp, Mabel Camp Mitchell and step-grandfather William Mitchell. and Richard "Dick" and Mary Louise Hampton, & step-uncle- Jim Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to "The Jason Hampton Memorial Fund" at any 5/3rd Bank.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2014 at the New Antioch Church of Christ with Lanny Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the church.
The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
