Janet Terry

Janet  Sue Terry,
Age 64, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Friday afternoon, July 6, 2012 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio due to a stroke she had in June.

She was born March 31, 1948 in Oneida, KY, daughter of the late Henry & Vernice (Bowling) Tankersley and her biological father-Delbert Williams.  She married Kenneth Terry in August of 1966.  Kenneth died in 1999.
Janet was an mother, author, artist, and did a variety of things in her life, especially taking care of her family.
She was a member of the Wilmington Jehovah's Witnesses.

Surviving are 7 children- Tony (Joann) Terry, Charlotte, NC, Nikki (Wayne Murphy) Terry, Wilmington; Kenneth Terry, Covington, KY, Rebecca Rahn, Xenia, OH, Christopher (Zevar) Terry, Covington, KY, Jeremiah Terry, Charlotte, NC and Megan Terry, Wilmington; 8 grandchildren- Krystal (Orland Helton) Terry, Priscilla Abulencia, Amanda Bailey, Elizabeth Terry, Jonathan Terry, Isabella Terry, Tyler Terry, & Katherine Rahn; 5 great-grandchildren- Angela, Maliah, Shawn, Princess, & Blake; 4 brothers & 3 sisters-all from the Laurel County, Kentucky area- Jimmy (Renee) Tankersley, Bill (Freda) Tankersley, Chuck (Vickie) Tankersley, Kenny (Regina) Hicks, Sherry (Freddie) Branstutter, Peggy Tankersley, & Vicki (Eulas) Taylor.

In addition to her parents and husband, Janet was preceded in death by her great-grandson- Jamie Terry & 2 brothers- Bobby Tankersley & David Hicks.

The Family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 PM, Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington.  Mermorial services will be held at 5:00 PM, July 14 at the funeral home.
