Janet Mitchener

Janet May Eubanks Mitchener,
Age 83, of Wilmington, Ohio, came to the end of her life's journey on Saturday evening, February 17, 2018 at the Elm Croft Nursing Home in Xenia, Ohio.

She arrived November 26, 1934 on her daddy's 30th birthday, the greatest gift he ever received. Janet was born in Highland County, Ohio the daughter of the late James Fay & Wilma (Ludwick) Eubanks.
She was a member of Chester Friends Meeting,Wilmington.
Janet is survived by her husband of 45 years, Richard K. Mitchener, of Wilmington.  She is also survived by her 3 daughters- Denece (Bill) Ritchie of Jamestown, Shelly (Ben) Fast, of Wilmington and Diane (Dante) Marshall of Cedarville.  Also surviving are children Lana Mitchener of Bowersville, Anita (Larry) Linne of Norfolk, VA, Marty (Crystal) Mitchener of Wilmington and Cindy Stroup of Washington Court House.  She is also survived by her sister, Jody (Elbert) Grabill of Miamisburg, 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her grandson- Jeff Carter, and in-laws- Horace & Mildred Mitchener.
The family would especially like to thank Elmcroft of Xenia and Hospice of Miami Valley for their wonderful care of Janet.

Funeral  Services will be held 10:30 AM, Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington  with Pastors Mike & Nancy McCormick officiating.  Interment will follow in the New Burlington Cemetery, New Burlington, Ohio.
