Janet Brown

Janet  Ruth Brown,
age 77, of Martinsville, Ohio, passed away early Wednesday morning,  March 17, 2021 at home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born May 17, 1943 in Piketon, Ohio, daughter of  the late William Clayton & Daisy Katherine (Rose) Smith.
She and her family owned and operated Brown's Distributors gas station in downtown Martinsville.
Surviving are her husband- Jimmie Brown, who has been together with Janet since they were high school sweethearts; son- James C. (Shelly) Brown, Martinsville; daughter- Nina (Fred) McCoy, Midland; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and a brother- Tony (Hazel) Smith, Hillsboro.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her son- Jesse Allen Brown; sister- Carolyn Rhoades; & brothers- William Alva Smith & Thomas Allen Smith.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, March 22, 2021 at the Clinton County Memory Gardens on Center Road, Wilmington,  with Deacon Clem Simmons  officiating.  The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
