Jane Lawson

Jane Elizabeth Frazier Lawson, 66, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Treasure Coast Hospice House  in Fort Pierce, FL.

She was born February 17, 1945 in East Danville, OH, daughter of the late Elmer Frazier  and Virginia Walker Frazier.

Jane had taught both music and kindergarten at Saint Anastasia Catholic School in Fort Pierce, and pre-kindergarten and 3rd grade at Saint Joseph Catholic School in Stuart Florida, for a combined total of over 33 years in the classroom. She was also the organist at Community United Methodist Church in Fort Pierce for 32 years. Jane loved music, children, and antiquing. She enjoyed spending her summers near her childhood home in Danville, Ohio, where she recently purchased and renovated a house with her husband.

She was a member of  Saint Anastasia Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband, Gregory Lane Lawson of Fort Pierce, FL; her daughter, Ara Lee Lawson-Golden of Port St. Lucie, FL, her daughter, Mindy Jane Lawson of Cocoa, FL; three grandchildren, Kayla Ashley Bass, 15 grandson, Robert Leo Golden, granddaughter, Madeleine Jane Lueders, sister, Janet Rebecca Carlier, Brother, David Frazier .

Jane was preceded in death by father, Elmer Frazier, mother, Virginia Walker Frazier.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church, July 5, 2011 at 10:00 am with Rev. Mike Paraniuk officiating.  Interment will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery, Hillsboro, Ohio.
