Jane Johnson

Jane Johnson, age 69, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday,  January 22, 2016 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman.

She was born September 21, 1946 in Hillsboro, OH, daughter of the late Vernon and Velma A. Lewis Edgington.

She was a member of the Hillsboro Lions Club and attended church at the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Michael Johnson of Hillsboro, whom she married June 20, 1966,  son and daughter-in-law, Robert A. and Teresa P. Johnson of Lexington, KY, a sister, Vickie Hetzell of Hillsboro, brother, William (Donna) Edgington of Hamersvile, and a half brother, Larry (Chris) Edgington, of Florida and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by 2 sons, Chrissy and Billy Johnson, two half brothers, Kenneth and Donald Edgington, and a half sister, Barbara Cochran.

Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Saturday,  January 30, 2016 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Derek Russell officiating.  Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens. Following the burial services a luncheon will be held in Robison Hall at the Hillsboro 1st UMC.

Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Friday, January 29, 2016, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
