James Edwin Walker,
Age 71, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away early Friday morning, December 30, 2011 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.
He was born May 1, 1940 in Cincinnati, OH, son of the late Buetin Jay Walker and Eleanor (Corbin) Walker Washer, who survives in Montgomery, LA with his step-father- Clarence Washer.
James was as a Disabled US Army War Veteran. He was a member of D.A.V., American Legion, & a Life Member of the Amvets, and the Marshall Church of Christ.
In addition to his Mother and Step-Father, other surviving family members are his sister- Alice Banes, Natchitoches, LA; step-son- David Stafford, Three Step-Grandchildren; step-sister- Frieda Berry, Natchitoches, LA; and several Neices and Nephews.
In addition to his father, James was preceded in death by his wife Linda (White) Walker..
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 East Main Street, Hillsboro, Ohio with Pastor Tom Stoops officiating. Interment will follow in the Cynthiana Cemetery, Cynthiana, Ohio.
Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Ohio from 2 - 4 PM Monday, January 2, 2012.
